Does Flite metal have to be applied over a Fiber Glassed surface?

Would it work over thin Birch Ply sealed with Water based Polycrylic?

You were headed to the best skinning solution with G-10 "at the proper thickness" adhered with the "proper adhesive" for the desired cure time. The fuselage is a cylinder...

Call Henkel and ask what would be best... Do not ask another modeler...the reply will only be relative to what "they needed...then did"...either failing or working. Ask Henkel.

I don't have enough of the thin G-10, and the curves at the Tail of the fuselage are too tight for that even if I had enough.

It was very expensive. I drove to Fort Worth to get it. Shipping was out of the question and still is.

Going to stay with thin Birch Ply Panels for the Fuselage and probably the Wing Center Sections, then 3/16th Balsa for the rest of the Wings.

That's the plan now, we shall see if that works out.
