I recently scratch built this 1/3 scale instrument panel. I 3D resin print all the parts. Laser cut the panel. And emboss all the lettering. I gave the instrument panel a bit of a crinkle paint finish.

Would have been nice to know what this panel was for.

I use Fusion 360, all my instrument panel and many cockpit components are 3D drawn on Fusion. I also have made cockpit tubs....however it's been a while since I made the last one. As always, it's just trying to find the time.

Rick,

This site offers an excellent opportunity to create cockpit tubs for projects, especially scratch projects...about 10% of what's posted.

Looks outstanding!  Could we see a photo of the finished instrument panel?

Rick,

This is an excellent opportunity for you. As you see in Don's inquiry many designer/scratch builders are in need of accurate time saving 3D printable features for their projects, static and articulated. RCSB's STL Repository has many such items in it. Though a designer/scratch builder may not have a 3D printer they pay someone else to create an item for them.

Most of the items this person may ask for have, in all probably, been created as an element of an existing 3D image...making extraction a quick, inexpensive acquisition... ;^) Time being the irreplaceable resource.

Your talent is a resource which should not be overlooked...if reverse engineering provides benefits to both you and the other Don's in RCSB...there can be many happy RCSB'ers
