Nice work Bob! It would be handy for post curing composites as well.

Very nice Bob!

Would you be willing to pull some canopies in the future if the molds are provided?

Thomas,  I am seriously considering that as an offering.

I have been testing the dryer and it is working well.  I am able to hold temps as needed for drying.  I have found that I needed to make some adjustments to ensure that the heat zone where the heater is doesn't soften the center of the sheet.  So, to help with that I added a piece of cement board on top of the metal shelf.  I have also added some aluminum reinforced tape to one side to prevent the heat from wrapping around the one side.  This allows me to lean the sheet against that wall mostly vertical to provide the best amount of air around it.  I will also need to make an adjustment at some point to allow me to use the fan.  I am currently using the fan piping to allow the steam to escape, so I will need to add a new approach for the fan (not a big deal at this point).  Anyway, in some early tests (prior to some of the changes above), the tests demonstrated clear canopies.  Big milestone here.  Now I just need to refine the temp/time approaches for each material and thickness prior to forming.  Step by step making progress and the end is very near!

I hope you find these updates interesting as I want to ensure that everyone is aware of the progress in getting this line fully back in the market.
