For years I have helped out at my clubs flying event and every year they have provided lunch with your entry fee.For the last couple of years, it has been a pizza lunch with a side of salad and dessert; before that it was a steak sandwich and at one time lasagna; so, it has been varied in the past.
I may be running the event in the near future and my thought is to move away from having the club paying to have a catered lunch and go to selling burgers, brats, hot dogs, chips, and water and therefore generating more revenue for the club and lowering the price of the entry fee.
I would like to know what you prefer to have when you attend an event when it comes to eat.
I understand it is less work to have somebody outside the club do the cooking and it would take some club manpower to do the cooking, but I know of several members who would step up to handle that.
