Thanks for the information. I would agree, as someone who has recently returned to this hobby a couple of years ago, that understanding NASA's offerings has been a bit murky. TBH I have looked at the site numerous times and always left with a feeling that NASA wasn't for me as I am not really interested in competition. Building and flying scale is something that gets the juices flowing, but competition would just add stress to something that I need to be a pleasurable distraction from the stress of the business life. Im not pooing it by any stretch of the imagination, it's just not for me. If I go to the site, it appears that all activities and publications are centered around competition. How would a NASA member fit in (or what things would they participate in) if they just wanted to build, collaborate, and admire other people's work? Currently it seems that people like me would just be on the periphery.
