Timo, do you actually need to have a license to fly RC over there or was that a figure of speech meaning you finally went "all-into RC?" Lane

Timo,
Welcome to the community. In my opinion, there is no finer forum on which to share knowledge, experience, and ideas.
From one septuagenarian to another, let's make the best use of the time we have left, whether it be at the workbench or laptop!
Take care,
Bren Bailey

Hello all,I thank everyone for the kind words. Despite the fact that I have been building for years, I can still learn.
You're never too old for it. Thanks again for the kind words. Have you seen my topic of the building of the Moth Minor from Jerry Bates?
I hope my English is not too bad
Regards Timo

The rules in our country and also in other countries in Europe are that you need a model flying license and you must be a member of a flying club. That is because there are many drones and that people has no experience with aviation rules. There were many accidents. So the government made rules, specialy for those people. But now it comes. We as model pilots are equated with drone pilots. And that is not correct. Unfortunately it is no different

Timo,
Your English is splendid. Besides being understandable, it's also concise and to the point.
Yes, I am following your Jerry Bates Moth Minor thread. I am also building a DH94, albeit a 1/5-scale from HangarOneKits in New Zealand. Isn't the international aspect of RC scale modeling wondrous?
Take care,
Bren

Welcome, Timo! I have a similar story about losing full-scale medical, but fortunately I never stopped flying RC. I am sure you will enjoy and benefit from this group of "scale maniacs".

Thanks Bruce. What did you fly? Single piston or just soaring? Cheers Timo
