E6000 is a great adhesive for stuff like that.  All of the stores in the US carry it.  It is rubbery, but holds very tenaciously.  I use it to glue servo extensions together.  If I need to separate them, it takes a minute or so of peeling the rubbery stuff off the pieces.  It will melt some types of foam though, so watch out.

E-6000 is a very strong adhesive

I have used E-6000 and it's previous name "Goop" for years to attach Aileron and Flap servos on their side, to the Ply mounting plate. No screws at all.

Clamped in place and left overnight, the only way you can remove the Servo is to cut around the bead of adhesive with a sharp knife and then pry the servo off with a flat screwdriver blade or something similar.
Any other way will just destroy the ply plate.

I am sure this will produce some criticism, but I have NEVER had one come loose.

It is far stronger than small screws into a Basswood or Spruce strip.

Before I glue servos in like this I wrap the servo in Blue painters tape then when I decide to remove the servo I cut the tape and then remove the servo and then removing the glue residue is pretty easy. I generally don't do this technique on bigger faster airplanes but sport models can get away with this.
YMMV

Check Deluxe materials site. I am not familiar with all of their products, but they may have something. They have a 2-part mix but last I checked it was not available in the USA.

I used E6000, a.k.a. rebranded PFM for R.C. use, to do my Corsair cockpit from Dynamic Balsa which was comprised of ABS parts. I destroyed the cockpit trying to remove it to reuse it in another fuse after a crash.
We also used this for internal formers in glass fuselages (except structural formers like the firewall). It's good stuff and holds tenaciously.
The only drawback is it's viscosity (thickness) makes it difficult to glue small parts.
