I think it essentially was a taildragger, but some (possibly many ?) had the nose wheel added to prevent nose overs when on rough field conditions.

 I don't have anything ready to post so if anyone wants to try their hand at stumping us with another , please go ahead and post. If no takers I'll put one up later this evening.

The LET was my next guess. Interesting the last plane I know of that had. 4 undercarrages....

SO, no takers?  Guess the Aero plane which was,

 1 - single engine
 2 - 2 seat biplane
 3 - slightly swept wings
 4 - ailerons on both wings
 5 - 9cyl radial  air cooled engine 
 6 - fabric covered wings
 7 - designed to be capable of using wheeled or float undercarriage

 1 - single engine
 2 - 2 seat biplane
 3 - slightly swept wings

 5 - 9cyl radial air cooled engine
 6 - fabric covered wings
 7 - designed to be capable of using wheeled or float undercarriage
 8 - 1st prototype completed in 1931
 9 - the original order was given to a company in another country
10 - a third prototype was used as the basis for the production of some 590 bubilt

11 - the country that commissioned the design and built over 500,retired theirs
      early in ww2. while the country that developed the design and built only around
      78, kept some of them in service until sept 1944
12 - Dive bomber
