Nope - not the Ki-36.

Single engine (radial)
Monoplane (low wing)
Production ran from 1938 - 1944.
Saw military use until 1955.
Normal crew of two, but known to carry more for clandestine ops.
(The 1955 was to throw you off!)
After WWII, over 30 were operated by a former enemy country.

"Vought OS2U Kingfisher"  is similar, but no that's not it.

Manufacturers' design proposals had to use a BMW 132 radial.

OK. here goes.
Not an easy one, but I have R/C plans.

Built in the 1930’s  Not for the Military, But seconded into a European air force
A high-wing monoplane. with a radial engine
It was a four-seater- 2 Crew, 2 Passengers

The wings were folded rearwards, and were equipped with automatic slats, flaps, and interceptors.
Had STOL capabilities.
