Hello. My name is Zack from Longview, Texas. I have been building and flying for 30+ years. I'm currently flying EDF's but looking to start up a new large scale "stick built" gasser project soon as I can decide on which aircraft to build.

Sparky. Yes, I changed the markings to reflect the A4 my good friend Dave Dollarhide flew while aboard the USS Forrestal when it caught fire on July 29, 1967. Dave was parked next to John McCain awaiting launch when the fire broke out. Dave was injured but managed to get unbuckled and away from his A4. At that time, Dave was flying in the VA-46 "Clansmen".

I have yet to fly the Scooter but I am looking forward to it. Thanks for asking.

Yes indeed. This site is AWESOME and has some of the best info I have found online for R/C building resources.
