Is there any sites showing how to weave a cane pilot's seat for a 1/4 scale Sopwith?

There are a couple threads on this site which show how they made a cane seat in WWI fighters, but I can’t remember which ones. You will have to search around a bit. Perhaps someone here will remember which.

One of which was a 3-d printed cane seat that looked absolutely gorgeous. if I find it again, I'll post a link.

What you want is wicker to weave your seat.
I made one for an Se5a in here many years ago.
I didn't have a pattern to go by  so I looked at a full scale seat and tried to copy that.
I cut a seat bottom from  light ply and added the uprights around the back.  Then I wove the wicker to resemble the full scale.
Ultimately it worked out ok

Here’s Alan’s (vascuguy) thread of his Sopwith Pup. The link takes you to where he makes his cane seat. Phenomenal work. LINK

Looked for the 3D printed cane eat in RCSB with "0" result. Anyone recall
which thread it might have been in? Weaving would be great but I need a
few more than one or two for a Tri-motor. Will look at a couple of 3D sites
and post what I find.
