Welcome to the site and you can regale us with your stories anytime.  I believe Mike has a column devoted to off-modeling topics.  If not, please feel free to relate some of your stories for us.  Sparky has been kind enough to share some of his experiences with the A-6 Intruder and we all enjoyed it.  Many of us here are also pilots, A&P technicians, jet engine inspectors, members of various aviation-related organizations and more.  Modeling is another facet of our love for flying. 

Personally, I've always held a special interest in many aircraft of British origin; the S.E.5 and Swordfish were both modeled with the S.E.5 posted under the "Other Kits" column under Super Detailing S.E.5 (okay, I admit a bit of self-aggrandizement here, sorry).  Many others have built models far more superior than I and rather than being intimidated, I was welcomed with open arms and I truly learned and expanded my knowledge of aviation in general and modeling in particular.
