Moving from Graupner due to no sales or service in the U.S. to FrSky.
10 years of flying Graupner, no regrets whatsoever.
So far FrSky is very promising and solid trustworthy equipment.

Originally Futaba 4~6, moved to Kraft 7, moved to JR 9~10, moved to Multiplex 12, moved to FrSky 32 TARANIS X9D+ in serial mode. Happy with FrSky physical size, functionality, and dependability. As with all, circuit mapping/power distribution can be the challenge.

Started with Futaba more than 50 years ago but when they got to their newer stuff, I switched over to JR then Spectrum.  Now settled on Jeti and wouldn't go back.

Another way to see how different Brands are being kept is to check the Radio Equipment for Sale on RC Groups .
I think you might see one type there than others
Futaba older versions like the 9 and 10 with the ability to change the Module to 2.4 sell immediately.

It would be interesting to see a year by year breakdown of voting since this has been around for over 10 years.

I started in early 90s with Futaba and have flown Futaba and Hitec until this year.  I evaluated FrSky and Radiomaster transmitters vs going to the the latest Futaba TXs.  I am going to continue with the Futaba I have and have purchased a TX16s MK3 max which I have transitioned a few models to.  So far I am really liking it.  I hope to try one of my larger models before the season ends here and see how that goes.

I still have a few models on 72mhz but most are 2.4 in a Futaba or Hitec flavor,   The Radiomaster can fly the Hitec 2.4 models and some of the Futaba, its also compatible with other radio protocols and can do the 2.4 and 900 dual tx also.

Negatives, no good manual and lots of time spent online trying to figure things out

Played with a Radiomaster about a year or so ago, before making the switch to Jeti.  Was an ok radio for the price ($150) at the time.  But the programming was just not very intuitive and spend a lot of time updating the transmitter.  Felt like a job to keep it updated.  Just another reason I like Jeti.

Started in a KO digiace in 78, then moved to JR (Century 7, PCM 9) for yrs then Graupner MC-24 for about 10 yrs, then had a JR 2.4 9x I think

Then a Spektrum then Jeti DC-24, then Core then back to Jeti DC-24ii

Jeti has always been the best.

Regards,
