Greetings

I have been sort of a quasi scale model builder. I have been at this game since the mid 70's and have had allot of fun with model planes of all sorts.

For a few years i was actually in the hobby industry, working at a company called Walker Machine.  We built an engine line base on the Sachs-Dolmar 2 cycle gasoline engines. I was the engine guy there. It was fun but, alas all good things come to an end. I made allot of friends in the industry and had many a good time at various contests & trade shows.

I have dabbled with the electrics and can see their attractiveness.  Clean and quiet with good power. Still I am a engine head at heart and enjoy the sound of a engine running well.

Now I would like to get a little more serious about scale models and hope one day to have a "Master Piece" before I end up in that great big hangar in the sky, LOL.

thanks for your time

Carlos G.

Welcome to RCSB Carlos,

Do you have a plane in mind you want to model?
If not, I'm sure you'll find one in one of the numerous build threads we have here.

I hope you'll start your own build thread when the time comes.

May I also direct you to our Site Supporter page where you can read up on all the advantages you'll have when becoming one.

Danny

Hi Carlos, welcome!

I second everything Danny said.
