Please note this years event is a little different from past years as it runs from 4pm to 9pm in the evening. Pilots Meeting begins at 3:30pm. At that time of day our field really shines. The Sun is behind our backs, the winds typically die down, and the environment for warbirds is spectacular. We will have a target tank available for you to try to hit with any dummy ordnance you may have to drop !! Fill those racks and try to hit our tank !!! No cost to fly. However, PMAC filed is located in a State Park so Michigan State Parking Parking rules apply. PMAC is located just outside of Pontiac, Michigan and we really enjoy hosting warbirds of all types. Gas, Nitro, Electric...If it's a warbird it flys !! It was a remembrance of D Day 70 years ago which included telling the story of "Piper Bill" who stormed Sword Beach in Normandy while playing his bag pipes the entire time. Video can be seen here.
