This month's winner of Model Of The Month is

Matt Lupri's Vailly Fw190

This is an awesome model and build thread that while an older build, certainly deserves
this award from the craftsmanship and sheer amount of information in Matt's thread!

Follow Matt through his build process and watch this model come alive.

Visit the thread by clicking here.

For his efforts, Matt has won an RCSB SWAG PACK that includes
an embroidered RCSB hat and a large RCSB Mug.

Each month I choose a model on the site worthy of this award,
so get back to work on that model or start a new build thread here on RCSB!

Congratulations Matt that "Butcher Bird" looks the part!
Is it retried or continue to soldier on?
Last post was 2011

Hey thanks so very much Mike and Sparky.  She was a fun bird to build and fly.  She went down in a blaze of glory at Top Gun and number of years ago for the 2nd time.  Aileron came off and I could not save her.

First rebuild here:

Have another 1/4 scale FW190 still waiting for in the basement to build!

best,
Matt

Matt,
I crashed my Gamma at TG in 2004 flew again in 2005 placing 4h in standoff scale. Short coupled and pavement made landings a challenge. We should start a club!
"I crashed at Top Gun!" I know of two others that qualify for membership.

Hey thanks again all.  Hope your builds are going well too!  Such a great site for learning lots, and I learned so much from so many builds.  Thanks Mike for the cap and jug, for the cup of Joe to use during the build!   Looking forward to getting back to the CV Mustang again soon, so then I can get back to another FW190 build...lol

Heading off tomorrow to Muncy PA for a long weekend of flying.   I shall wear the RCSB cap, looks sunny!

best
Matt
