The 2020 San Juan All Scale Classic has been postponed and re-scheduled for Sept. 11-13 2020. We took a little while to delay the event because we wanted to see how the "Pandemic" played out. Well it turns out the NM Governor extended the stay at home order through May 15 anyway. Things should be calmed down by Sept. and the weather should be very nice. I can't wait to get to fly with fellow modelers again. Hope to see you there, be safe and continue building. We will get to fly again soon

So Far this event is still scheduled for Sept.11 - 13. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that our Governor (I could use a different title) doesn't get crazy and shut down the state again. This event is going to offer open flying and test/tune on Friday. Scale judging Sat. until around 3:00 pm and then open flying. And scale judging until 11:00 am Sunday. Awards to be awarded shortly after lunch. I know everyone is hungry for some kind of get together so we are trying our best to accommodate everyone and all types of flying at this event. Hope to see you there.
Thanks,
Tim

Well, our Communist Dictator............whoops, I mean Gov. killed the meet. Without any cause (no new cases of Covid in weeks) she continued the lockdown with restrictions of gatherings of no more than 10. SOOoo, the city will not grant a permit for our long scheduled event. Maybe next year???? Thanks for everyone's interest. We will be flying on this day, just no event. The field is open and we will use it.
Thanks,
Tim
