Grab a 1/4~1/3 scale J-3 and "stick" to it as it will go together faster than anything
else you could do to get back in the saddle. Power it with electric and get'r done...

I second that!  I am currently building a 1/4 J3 Cub.

Yes I highly recommend you become a member! Best thing I ever did, as I mentioned I'm currently restoring a 1/4 scale J3 Cub,  though it is a very simple plane to build/restore scale,  I have found great support and received really good advice and tips from this forum.  It a great source of information as well.
