Hi gang, love this website and I'm always learning something new.I do not consider myself  a scale builder,I do however like adding details to my aircraft. This Kit has been a "on" and "off" project since 2014 and it sat in a box for at-least 20 years before I started it,well it finally done and it came pretty good for my skill set.

  • Specs 65" wingspan early Pica FW-190 Dora, I finished it as a loosely looking TA-152-C3
  • Aircraft is fibber glassed .73oz 106 volan  with water-based polyurethane, added Dift wood sealant  on balsa so it didn't warp.
  • Rivets by Chad  Veich , cockpit is a hodge-podge of a 1/6 scale  IMP cockpit and parts I made.
  • Power plant is a Evolution 20cc Engine.
  • Landing gears are electric MFG. by Lando; struts and wheels are spare parts from Hangar 9 BF-109,perform a tail wheel mod for a more scale look.
  • Installed flaps, they are  home made from 1/64 birch plywood and fiberglass cloth, same goes for the main gear doors.
I'm at work now so i can only post a few photos, will post more later.  Cheers!! Rich
