Greetings fellow RCSB’ers. As we move into building season here in the Northern Hemisphere, I hope you will consider starting a build thread if you are starting a new project this fall. No matter what your level of building is, everyone can learn from your methods and you can get some great advice from other builders when needed.
Just a couple of quick items this month to keep you updated on…
User Interface Tweaking You may or may not have noticed but there have been a few minor changes to the site’s UI. Firstly, the default font size has been increased slightly to accommodate growing display sizes making the text easier to read. Also, all form input boxes and buttons are slightly larger too. Wendell Hostetler Forum We have added a separate forum for Hostetler builds and discussion in response to several members request. This will allow you to find all those thread in one place. We try and add forums when there is enough threads to justify a new one but not when there are only several threads about a designers plans or a kit manufacturer.
Vid.me RCSB now also posts it's videos on vid.me, a creator friendly alternative to Youtube. You can always go to there by clicking on the vid.me social media buttons at the bottom of the "Recent Posts" widget on the left or go directly to https://vid.me/rcscalebuilder
Home page Image Rotator If you have a high resolution image of your model FLYING we would like to add it to the random rotator on the home page. If you would like to submit a photo of your flying model pic for consideration it needs to be at least 1024 x 768 in size (smaller images will be rejected) and the subject should be centered in the image and clearly visible. To submit your model’s photo for consideration, simple private message me using the “Private Message” link letting me know you are interested and I will give you the email address to send the/them to.
