Hi,
thanks for your interest. The 1/4 enlargement will take some time. After finishing the 1/5th spit, I will concentrate on the hurricane 1/4th first.

Christopher

I worked again on the cowling top side (adjustments for the converted Mark V to IX specialities), as well as the fairing. The bottom part will be included to several extra wing spars. Along with the balsa sheeting, this will hopefully help and save a lot of time for woodbuilders. As for the inner flaps bases, those are really hard to model out of wood without any help and probably therefore 99% wrong at all wood kits, not for mine. The wing spars will help for these as well.

It has been silent for some while. Not because I am lazy in the "sun" (no sun currently available in Germany), but preparing my workshop for my own cnc machine, that has been designed in the last couple of months. Obviously I want to be able to cut the kits myself, offer some nice extras with new leading times and better prices.

Since I am building a lot of my furniture myself, this machine will be a lot bigger and stronger than those only made for modelling purposes.

Next step in digital will be finishing the spit, so that my own shop can start with Aichi D3A1, Hurricane and Spitfire. I always wanted at least 3 kits before setting up own cnc capacities.

All the best,
Christopher

Since I always had problems with gear suppliers, I decided to design and produce them myself to be combined with existing mechanics/actuators from behotec, Germany (pneumatic or electric available). There will be basic versions and some deluxe with more scale extras. Below the basic versions, produced from high quality alu and steel.

I am currently working on the hurricane and spitfire sets besindes building my cnc machine. It is silent but i am not lazy, never :D
