Hello guys (and girls, of course!)
I've just joined your group having been more or less forced into RC flying by my son, who bought me a RTF model for Father's Day! Nearly 60 years ago I built primitive rubber powered scale kits, and I've a few hours in full-scale fixed wing and fling-wing machines, but I don't find that it helps in anyway!(hence my user name)
I first looked at RCSB as I am interested in the Yak 3, having worked on White 21. I was pleased to see that there quite a number of other fans of these aircraft, which I consider should receive greater recognition. If ever I manage to make a successful flight with my foam spam-can, I intend to look into building a scale Y3 White 21 using photos I took while it was in the hanger. If any member would like a few reasonably clear pics of 21 please let me know and I will e-mail them.
