The Greater Southwest Aero Club, Fort Worth, TX, will have a fun meet on Saturday. Drop by if you are in the area. Club is on the EAST side of Fort Worth, East Loop 820 and Randoll Mill Road, 1/4 mile EAST on Randoll Mill, turn in at the chain link fence/gate. Flying starts at 9am and goes till noon or so and then will be open flying. Landing fee for flyers is $20 which includes lunch of burgers or dogs with chips, drink and sometimes cookies. Spectators might consider a donation for lunch. Plenty of FREE parking and lots of spectator room. The usual 80 inch span single wing and 60 inch span biplane applies. Weather should be good, winds SW less than 10 and pleasant temps. Come on out if you can make it. Lane

Spent the last two days getting the UV-20A Chirachaua DLE-85 running. Been sitting since 2020. After pulling the carb off and blowing out all the orifices with Berryman's Chemtool, got her started. So, looking forward to taking her to the Big Bird on Saturday.

Had to assemble the tail end to run, but it was worth running at home. Woulda been sad to get out there and not run.
