Hello fellow modellers!

I am planning a trip to FL next spring and I would like to have suggestions where to lodge in Lakeland.
Can I camp at the field? Should I rent a Uhaul, so my very light plane could stay safe during night or in case of a storm? Or if some of you have a room to rent or a workshop floor where to sleep, that would be awesome!

I still need to discuss with the airline how to get the plane to U.S. so that I don't have to pay fortune.

I have been a member of the Imperial RC club back in mid -90's when I had my commercial licence at Lakeland!

I suggest going to the FTE website to download the most recent pilot event into packet. There is/was a list of recommended
lodging as well as can and can nots with respect to the Lakeland Lender Airport property. Rest assured you will not have to
rough it.

I have already contacted Greg to make sure I can apply for the Sportsman class.

Also it looks like the airline has ready set price for sporting goods so I will check with the exact case dimensions to be sure.
