Does anyone know whats going on at Robart Manufacturing .
I placed an order 3 weeks ago for a gear for the Super Cub I’m rebuilding, I got a confirmations and order number, I go into my account and says “payment approved” order “unfulfilled ,I called several times and I only get a recording to leave a massage and they will get back to me, they never do. All my past ordered have shipped within a day or two. So are they in some kind of difficulties, are they on vacation? No mention of it on their recording. Anyone has an insight as to whats going on.

They probly dont have it and their supplier is making excuses on delivery delays.
Its not uncommon to hear of people waiting 9+ months for out of stock items from Robart right now.

I had the same issue for several orders from them. They told me (Danny) that their suppliers are wreaking havoc on them. It was tires (rubber) one time, the Co that chemically treats the side frames couldn't get the chemicals to do it another and last part of the order (Ziroli P-40 gear) no "C" clips. My order for Ziroli P-51 gear, tires and rims plus P-40 gear took close to 8 months! Add in the are short staff to the supply chain and its a crap shoot as to when you get them. Thankfully I am just buying items I need for future builds and not for in progress builds. Hang in, they will fill the order and from what they said they dont send the charge through until shipping they just check that the card was good.

Well I think I got lucky after all, Robart just email. me with a FedEx tracking number, gear should be here Wednesday.
I say I got lucky cause I was chatting with some modelers on FB and some just got their gears ordered in Aug and Dec just last week. In any case crisis aborted I was about to use the old gear.

Good news indeed, I has started to clean up the old gear so timing is perfect. Looking to the future I think im going to to hang on the the D18 set I have for sale just in case I go into “I need to build another D18 craziness” 
Now to wait for the glass cowl I ordered form Fiberglass Specialties on the same day, they’ve already charged my credit card so I asume they should be almost done and ready for shipping, they say 1-2 weeks and its been 3, will see.

FYI, a discussion just came up on Flying Giants where a guy claims he called Robart recently about ordering P47 gear and was told they are stopping production. I asked him to clarify if they really meant all production or that one gear set and he insists they said everything.
Anybody talked to them recently? I dont want to just call in a panic or leave it as a message on their voicemail as they rarely answer....
