1/10 scale Tiger. 80 mm edf.
55” long, 39” span and features scale retracts. Fiberglass covered foam and weighs 8 lbs all up.

Love the color scheme. Yes, they let student Naval Aviators fly these in the later portion of the advance Jet training. Only single seat planes were produced so quite an achievement/compliment that they turned a 23 year old loose in a supesonic jet with around 250 hours total flight time!
The Canopy outline needs a little adjustment from what i can see from the picture.
Of course the Blue Angles flew them for many years too!

Scratch build? or what source for this plane it looks pretty straight forward for a jet.
Looks like a F-16 gear is used. The full size sits pretty low to the ground.

It’s a scratchbuild using glass over foam. Turned out that the scale gear was the focus of this project. I would say the experiment was a success and will be doing more projects along these lines.

This gear is why we don’t see the F-11 modeled.
A bit rough around the edges but it’s a work in progress!
