Here are a couple shots of my Bristol M1.  It's been finished for a while, except for the spinner.  I finally bit the bullet and had Graham at TAG Model Spinners make me one.  It arrived Monday, I installed it yesterday.

The elevators and rudder are pull-pull.  The model is covered in Solartex and painted with Rustoleum rattle cans.  I made my own paint masks, there are no decals.  Engine is a 15cc RCGF gasser.  It only has about 4 flights on it.

Enjoy,
   Greg

Greg,

You rascal! You didn't tell me that you had an opponent for my E.111 in exactly the same scale. I look forward to some mock dogfights over Mocksville in the near future.

I hope my effort comes out looking as good as yours.

Take care,

Bren

I had the honor of seeing Greg's Bristol in person this week.
It's a beauty for sure and the new spinner really sets it off.

Congrats on the great result. I also like to make my own paint masks as I feel it adds to feeling of involvement with the build process.

Would you be able to show us some closer details of the custom spinner you had made? It sets the model off nicely and it would be interesting to see how the spinner fits together and what parts it has?

Thanks

Al

It looks great, but the BUSA kits nose is way too long.
