I found a bunch of pics of my 1/3 scale Stearman and decided to share. Restored this plane about 7 years ago, stripped it to the bulkheads and a few stringers and started over with all sheet metal, sheeting and covering and have made several improvements since. Albuquerque best military scale 2018.

I'm ready to choose a rudder servo for the 1/3 BUSA Stearman and am looking for suggestions. The industry has changed so much since I have been away from it for some years and I'm looking for advise.

Would you also suggest a rudder single servo tray with tiller or dual servo tray for redundancy? The elevator is split with two Hi Teck 7955 as is the ailerons each having one 7955. Powerplant is Moki 215 and have not decided on throttle servo yet either.

These are what I will be putting in my 1/3 scale BUSA Flybaby. I put the 270 oz ones in my 1/3 scale Pitts and it does anything I tell it to. I doubt you will be wringing out the Stearman like a Pitts.

Anyway, they are the best bang for your buck servo you can get and they can handle up to 8.4 volts. For the throttle I would us the DS90DLHV or DS130DLHV

They are the only servos I use now. Could not be happier.
