GSW Aero Club in Fort Worth, TX is hosting a USSM Qualifier on June 2 and 3. Nice grass field and covered work/setup tables (going to be hot). Free Saturday lunch for registered pilots. Usually a good turnout from several states. No propane/kerosene jets or turbines. Gas, glow, or electric planes only. Several categories to enter under. Site below has CD contact information.

Hey Ben, glad to have you here. It's gonna be hot, I can say that much. So, bring extra ice water (even though plenty of water with the GSW club), and some chairs and maybe a folding sun shelter. There's always room for all that to setup. Saturday winds are forecast to be SSW at 10 to 15. Runway is heading 160 so, a slight crosswind from the right. Sunday, the winds will shift to the NE and will be a bit cooler - 90's. Lane

Thanks.  It was HOT two years ago when I last went.  More of an endurance contest than a model airplane contest
I'll pack accordingly
