this one's quite sad........a fellow club friend built this stunning BT P51......half way through the build he got cancer which beat him in the end but he's goal was to fly it before he passed away but that never happened....he finished it 3 weeks before but was too ill to fly it and the weather was also against him here in the UK.....

But......he's wife told him it would fly and it did on saturday, fellow RCSB member and club member John Carpenter was chief and my friend Dave was test pilot.....i was just a helping hand.....we will also have a day when the P51 will fly again along side my Me 109 which is roughy the same scale for all the family to enjoy....

John it flew.....
