Thank you. I do have some pictures but will have to do some digging through the computer to find them. I will do that soon and post them for you.

Love it. I'm working on one now also and was considering a Brit scheme. You just made up my mind. Do you have any pictures of your control surfaces and hardware? I'm on the fence about how detailed I want to get.

Thanks,

I did find this picture. It is of a mockup made and proved out this setup would work. The control horn was made from G-10. Everything is hidden and using ball links it operates very smooth. I did end up rebuilding the ailerons to reflect scale with a rounded leading edge and built them so they are now covered with fabric. The control concept is the same.

The Hellcat is now weathered and i am calling it finished for now. Still have to buy the battery packs and balance.

Very, very nice! Couple of questions...

Is that Robart gear that's been painted?

Also...do you have a flat or satin clear on top of the Klass Kote or is that the colour as it comes out of the can?

Thanks,
Brad

Yes, it is painted Robart gear. I masked off the frames before painting.

No clear coat, straight out of the can. The weathering is a mixture of black and brown and twice as much reducer as usual. The Klass Kote colors are very accurate. (at least what i used on this one)
