Due to the NASCAR championship races a few miles away from the field, the turnout was a little low this year. But, Vicar, Mark & myself were in attendance for RCSB. Enjoy a few pics I took

So boB,
I see your name on the side of a Pitts Special did you have the 1:1 as well?
Isn't the jet a fantasy color scheme?
What was the power plant in the turboprop plane?

No, I wish I did.

Yes, both jets are fantasy schemes but the F-100 was done well.

As for the EMB 312 Tucano, it had a Wren turboprop in it that produced a LOT of power for the plane.

I believe I heard the owner say that the turbine produces 85 lbs of thrust. He also mentioned the static thrust but cannot remember the figure... it was a big number... The plane is awesome on the ground as well as in the air.

I have heard that the TP powered planes all end up way overpowered. I have never seen the model TP fly but plenty of time behined the 1:1 powered TP.
They too tend to be overpowered compared to a recip equivalent. But love the smooth effortless (reliable) power they provide.
