G'day, I'm Brian from country NSW in Australia and I'm really glad to be here at RCSB.

I was a very keen modeller for many years and built lots of stuff, mostly small scale, flying RC and Control Line (in those days!) Went to many meets in both Oz and NZ. I've been out of it for many years with work and family times, but now decided to come back! Built a few ship models and statics, but have always had a yearn to go for large scale! Spent many, many hours researching all sorts of stuff and getting up to date with Radio and power plants! I just love this forum, so much info!

Well - I finally decided on a 1/4 scale Balsa USA Nieuport 28c-1. I was looking hard at others like Proctor and Arizona, but I figured the Nieuport being near scale, might be better. Hope I made the right decision! haven't decided on Radio or power yet, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, it looks a great build.

Glad to be here and best regards to you all
Brian

Hi Brian!  Welcome to RCSB.  I don't think you will be unhappy with the Nieuport, they are good flying airplanes, and the BUSA are probably easier to build than the Proctor.

Please let us know when you start your build thread!

Hi Peter and Jeff

Thanks for your posts and your welcome - much appreciated! Yes - Jeff I guessed the BUSA would be an easier build and that will suit me for the first one up!

I'll surely let you know when I start the build and I'll get a thread going on it - a couple weeks to get my build area ready, plus set up a new bench. Regards

Brian
