Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and looking forward to learning and getting to know you guys.  I used to be ARF only because I thought I couldn't build until a good friend of mine gave me a kit and said "try it and see what you think".  I had some issues but stuck it out. 

Anyway, my name is Pete and from Kansas and have learned to love building and modifying RC kit planes.  Haven't got into scratch building.....yet but looking to forward to it.  Currently I'm finishing an AK-models Simple Flier short kit (it's been an experience) and just started a Midwest Giant Sweet n Low Stik kit and loving it.  Anyway, thanks for the add and I look forward to learning from you guys.

G'day Pete,
As a newbie myself i can say this site is addictive you will be amazed at the talent here.  Nothing wrong with ARF models they have there place IMO....gotta fly something whilst building.  I love the building side of the hobby i guess its the satisfaction of creating something from a pile of wood.
Anyway hope i can learn something from you...get a build going.

  Pete  youwill learn tricks to building every time you sit down and work on a kit. Before long you will be bending wire and soldering gear and struts ;)
