Perfect weather here for building.  I have been involved in RC since 1978.  Doesn't seem that long ago if I don't look in the mirror.  My main interests for the last twenty years or so have been giant scale aerobatics and warbirds.

Where in Iowa?  My sister-in-law lives in North Liberty.

Welcome to RCSB!  What are you building currently?

Top Flight Focke Wulf that I have glassed and is ready to paint.  Hyperlight Slick.  I think the Iowa City area got pounded with snow.  We got nine inches here.

I mounted a DLE 61 on the nose.  I took the plow off my truck and it snowed.  You should try that.

Welcome fuzzy51. I too live here in iowa. I live in lone tree just S.E. of Iowa City. Just got home from a 12 hour day, plowing 8 inch of snow. Looking forward to your next build. Great builders here on this sit who have great ideas while building. Just remember that there is no such thing as a dumb question to ask.
