Hey everybody. I have just recently become a member of RCSB lots of great planes & workmanship. I have been flying for about two years. I bought a 1:5 scale Top Flite Giant scale P-51 Mustang. I have no plane building experience besides the foamies. I'am thinking about starting a build thread if I can figure out how.

Hi Wade,

Glad you became part of our family here. Thank you for your support! By, all means please start a thread and I am sure everyone will pitch in and help you when you have questions. Top Flight kits are great first builds because they offer clear and concise instructions. Just take your time and review others threads to see how the building goes.

Great to have you here and welcome to building!

Cheers,
Mike

I echo Mike - but add to read the instructions all the way through until you understand.  You may want to handle the parts as you look at the instructions.  Stick close to what they recommend and it should be a piece of cake!

When in doubt, try it on something else first!
