This month's download is a great collection of images of a Curtiss SB2C-5 Helldiver taken at the Royal Thai Air Force Museum by member Danny Busch. There are over 75 high resolution images of this aircraft and everything you need is here including some great close-up shots of various detail.

This is a very nice subject and a MUST for your walk around collection. If you are a RCSB Site Supporter you can download the .iso file by click on the link below.

This airplane has now been moved and the wings are folded. It was in pretty good condition until they moved it outside last year and the floods came. It is deteriorating badly as it is not protected at all. I can get further pics if anyone needs them.

Things keep disappearing from that Museum. When I just moved to Thailand, about 10 years ago, there was a Nieuport plane, lots of japanese machine guns, several flight simulators, a DC3, various model airplanes, rotary engines, ejector seats and lots more. Seems like they keep the many newly decommissioned F105s indoors, and let all the canvas covered aircraft rot away outside, to please some high-ranking officer. Try walk behind some of the sheds and see what is rotting away there! You will cry.
