Greeting All!

September here in the Northern Hemisphere usually signals the beginning of building season and that means more folks visiting RCSB! I hope each of you have a great project picked out this year to work on and hope you will share your build here with others. We all have something to learn from each other. For our friends in the Southern Hemisphere flying season is almost here and hope you will take the time to go over your models well and check them out for safety issues. Remember, SAFETY FIRST!

Not much to cover this month, just a few items.

1. RCSB Mobile App for Android - It's here!

This is NOT a mobile replacement for the site. It is simply an app to tie all the various resources together. Hope you find it useful! Of our mobile users over 80% use the Android platform. Unfortunately I don't see us doing an Apple version because it's simply cost prohibitive because of apples current iTunes developer policies. Sorry iPhone/iPads.

2. Adding Links (URL's) in your posts.
Some members seem to be having issues adding links to their posts. To make sure EVERYONE can use the link simply use the  "Add Hyperlink" button  on the editor toolbar when composing a post. You cannot simply cut and paste it into your post and expect it to work, it depends on the browser you are using.

3. New Members
Be sure to take a moment and visit the "Introduce Yourself" forum and welcome our new members.

Our hobby will only survive if we welcome new folks in and help them along the way. I am proud to say this site excels at that!
