 View This Item  Nieuport XI Walk Around
This aircraft is located in the Musée de l’Air. The type first flew in 1915 and over 7000 were built. Bébé (Baby) was the unofficial name due to its small size. This the only original Nieuport XI still in existence. It was build in 1915 and was handed over to the museum in 1919. During restoration in 1987 at the mechanic school in Rochefort, the personal markings of Commandant Rose`s was added. Otherwise 100 % original.
